Smooth arrival and check-in

Scan your ticket at the turnstiles, go through bag and metal detection checks, then pick lockers or cabanas and consult the park map on the app to plan your day. Dropping off bags early sets you up for an organized, hassle-free waterpark day.

Stroll through themed zones

Once inside, move towards the central hub between Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores. From here, paths branch toward the slide towers, lazy rivers, and kids’ splash areas. The tropical landscaping, sandy edges, and wide sightlines make it easy to choose a direction and plan your first stop.

Thrills and speedy rides

High-adrenaline slides like Ihu’s Breakaway Falls and Taumata Racer deliver steep drops and head-to-head races. Omaka Rocka and Ray Rush feature looping funnels, high-speed water jets, and sudden splash moments that add excitement for older kids and thrill-seekers.

Unwind and interact

Float along Loggerhead Lane lazy river and spot tropical fish. Little ones can enjoy Walkabout Waters, which offers gentle slides, sprays, and water jets in shaded, kid-friendly areas.

Break for quick bites and some shade

Midday calls for refueling at eateries serving sandwiches, snacks, and ice cream. Cabanas or loungers by wave pools provide shade, towels, and a comfortable spot to rest between slide sessions.

Shop the essentials

Forgot sunscreen or swim diapers? Or want a souvenir? Gift shops like Kiwi Traders and Adaptations offer beachwear, towels, swim-ready gear, waterpark essentials, and Aquatica-branded gifts—handy for spur-of-the-moment needs or keepsakes to remember the day.

Attend seasonal events

On select dates, Aquatica shifts into event mode, like Illuminate Lantern Festival (winter 2025–26), turning the park into a glowing, lantern-lit walk with immersive realms, lights, themed snacks, and relaxed nighttime vibes. Events required a separate ticket; not included with your park-entry ticket.

Things to do at Aquatica Orlando

Reserve a private cabana for the day

Enjoy your own shaded, private retreat, complete with a locker, towels, a fan, stocked water bottles, and in-cabana food service. It provides a comfortable home base between rides and helps relax the pace.

Pro tip: Book the cabana early—beachfront and premium cabanas sell out fastest.

Slide together through the dolphin habitat (Dolphin Plunge)

Ride the enclosed slide tubes that glide through the park’s dolphin lagoon and see real Commerson’s dolphins swimming along as you slide. It’s a rare blend of thrill and marine‑life encounter.

Pro tip: Head there first thing after entry; wait times climb fast for this unique attraction.

Float the lazy river & see marine life (Loggerhead Lane)

Drift along a lush, tropical lazy river that winds past aquatic habitats, offering a calm contrast to the high-speed slides. Great for unwinding or cooling off midday.

Pro tip: Use this as a “rest stop” between slide marathons; mornings or late afternoon tend to be the quietest.

Join the “Commerson’s Close‑Up” marine tour

On select dates, you can book a small‑group guided experience to learn about the dolphins and get an up‑close look at their habitat. It’s a unique add-on if you’re curious about marine life.

Pro tip: Reservations are limited (groups ≤ 6), so book this early if you want in.
