Things to know before booking your Disney World Orlando tickets

  • Choosing the right park for a single-day visit: Each theme park at Disney World Orlando has its own distinct type of experiences included within.
    • Magic Kingdom: 6 themed lands offering a classic Disney theme park experience with rides & events based on popular Disney characters through the ages.
    • EPCOT: Global, futuristic, and innovative attractions with a diverse range of rides & events focused on cultures from around the world.
    • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Disney & Pixar blockbuster-themed rides and experiences.
    • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Wilderness-themed exploration of landscapes from around the world with a Disney twist.
  • Single-day vs multi-day tickets:

    • Single-day tickets: You can select a theme park or water park of your choice to visit for a day. You also have the option to upgrade to the Hopper or Hopper Plus to add more experiences to your ticket.
    • Multi-day tickets: Select from 2 to 10 days, depending on the number of days you wish to stay at Walt Disney World. You can visit one theme park or water park per day, or choose between Hopper and Hopper Plus to add multi-park access along with sports experiences.
    • Which ticket to choose: The single-day tickets are ideal for visitors who want a short trip to Disney World and see the highlights of the theme parks. Multi-day tickets allow for more exploration over the days, where you can explore the attractions at a more leisurely pace.
  • Understanding the Hopper and Hopper Plus ticket options: Both upgrades offer additional access to experiences. They are explained in more detail below:
    • Hopper: The Hopper pass allows you access to visit all four theme parks and their attractions for the number of days the pass is valid for. This includes access to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Select the upgrade if you want to visit multiple attractions during the day and want to catch live shows & experiences across the theme parks.
    • Hopper Plus: The Hopper Plus option provides access to four theme parks, as well as a water park or a sports experience of your choice, for the number of days the pass is valid. You can hop between all four theme parks, but you can only choose between a water park or a sports experience per day. Keep in mind that you can only visit the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on event days. Select this option if you want hassle-free access to all of Walt Disney World’s experiences.
  • Can I realistically visit more than one park per day? It is possible to visit more than one park at Disney World in a day, but it is recommended that you start early. If you want to experience the highlights across different parks, then you can allot 4 to 6 hours per park. Here are a few ways you can maximize your multi-park experience:
    • Download the My Disney Experience app and use the complimentary Disney Genie service to help you plan your itinerary. You can also use the app to navigate around the parks, join virtual queues, and get real-time updates on attraction wait times.
    • Make reservations & place orders at places you want to dine.
    • Start with popular attractions with longer wait times that you want to visit because they tend to be less crowded at the start of the day.
  • Seasonal and ticketed events: Walt Disney World Orlando hosts multiple seasonal events throughout the year that require separate tickets. They are not included in the general park entry tickets, and the theme park where the event takes place might be closed or have limited access during the event hours.
  • How to use your multi-day tickets: Your multi-day tickets can be used for consecutive or non-consecutive days. Each ticket is valid for a certain number of additional days, beginning from the date selected on your ticket, and the validity period varies depending on your ticket.

Yes, same-day re-entry is allowed with your ticket. Just make sure to use the same park or have the Park Hopper option if visiting multiple parks in one day.

What’s included with a standard park ticket?

A regular ticket includes entry to one theme park per day (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom). It covers all rides, shows, and standard entertainment in that park.

What is the Park Hopper ticket, and is it worth it?

Park Hopper allows you to visit more than one park per day. It’s great for flexible plans or short trips. Ideal if you want to mix big rides with night shows in different parks.
