Things to know before booking your ticket

  • The 1-Day Animal Kingdom Ticket gives you full-day access to all lands including Pandora – The World of Avatar, Africa, Asia, and DinoLand U.S.A., with rides, animal encounters, and live shows included.
  • If you want to visit more than one Disney park in the same day, choose the 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket, which allows you to move between all four Walt Disney World parks.
  • The 2-Day Ticket lets you visit two parks on consecutive or non-consecutive days, giving you flexibility if you want to combine Animal Kingdom with another park like Magic Kingdom or EPCOT.
  • Multi-Day Tickets (2–10 days) allow entry to one park per day and are ideal for families or longer vacations where you want to explore at a relaxed pace.
  • For added variety, select Multi-Day + Water Park & Sports Tickets, which include one Disney theme park per day plus access to a Disney water park (such as Typhoon Lagoon) or a sports experience like mini golf or FootGolf.

  • Arrive early, especially for Pandora: Get there at rope drop if you can. Avatar Flight of Passage lines build fast. Early morning is your best shot at shorter waits.
  • Do Kilimanjaro safaris early (or late): Animals are most active in the cooler parts of the day, morning and just before closing. Midday heat = sleepy lions.
  • Stay for Pandora at night: If you can, don’t leave before sunset. Pandora glows beautifully after dark, it’s a totally different atmosphere.
  • Mobile order for lunch: Quick-service spots (especially in Pandora) get busy fast. Mobile ordering saves serious time.
  • It’s not a half-day park: A lot of people assume it is, it’s not. Between safaris, trails, Pandora, shows, and rides, you can easily spend a full day here.
