Things to know before booking your WonderWorks tickets

The busiest times at WonderWorks are during Spring Break, Memorial Day weekend, Summer break, and Christmas break. Expect longer wait times during these times and on rainy days.
Some of the displays and attractions include flashing lights and movement, which may not be suitable for individuals with heart conditions, diabetes, vertigo, seizures, or other sensitivities to light and motion.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) to enter the attraction.
Discounted ticket prices are available for seniors above 60 and children between 4 to 12. Infants aged 3 and under can enter for free.
Food and drinks from outside cannot be carried into the attraction. However, WonderWorks offers a range of eateries with kid-friendly options.
Some of the rides and attractions have height and weight restrictions.
WonderWorks Orlando is wheelchair-friendly. Wheelchairs can be rented on-site for $10, with your identification collected upon admission and returned once the wheelchair is returned.
Given that this is a family-friendly attraction, guests are required to dress appropriately, opting for shirts and shorts/trousers. Please note that skirts and dresses are not permitted on the ropes course. Additionally, closed-toe shoes are required for certain attractions.
Lockers are conveniently available for rent at a rate of $3 for every 3 hours to ensure your belongings remain secure during your visit.

Ride restrictions at WonderWorks Orlando

Wonder Coaster: There are no age restrictions for this ride, however, there is a height restriction of 4’0″ (48″) to ride alone or 3’6″ (42″) to ride with an adult or an older child who is 48” or taller. Additionally, there is a weight limit of 250 lbs.
Ropes Course: All climbers must be at least 4’0″ (48″) to climb alone or 3’6″ (42″) to climb with an adult, 18 years or older. Individuals taller than 6’8″ (80″) or weighing more than 300 lbs are not permitted. Closed-toed shoes are required for this attraction. Skirts and dresses are not allowed.
Astronaut Training Gyro: There are no age restrictions, but children must be at least 4’6″ (54″) tall and not taller than 6’2″ (74″). Individuals weighing more than 225 lbs are not permitted on the ride. Long hair must be tied up.
4D XD Theater: This attraction requires a minimum height of at least 3’4″ (40″).

My visit to the space center was awesome. I was so amazed by the rockets in the front and I just loved how you introduced the Atlantis. Highly recommended! My only negative comment is there was a rude staff member working the digital ride experience. She was pretty nasty when instructing people on the rides. All and I, I did not let that judge my overall experience.

Although most of the attractions are aimed at children (and many go into space just to make a mess and not to learn anything) and most of the objects are not real, the quality and technology of the attractions are fantastic. But what definitely won me over was seeing the Space Shuttle Atlantis up close. It blew me away.

What I loved the most about this experience was the ease of purchase and ticket entry. I did not see a way to prepay parking. The self serve parking ticket worked well for us however several cars ahead of us had issues. Staff was very friendly, the food selection was good one of the best tomato basil sandwiches I have had!

It was my 26 year old nephew's first experience to Cape Canaveral. The best part was seeing the excitement in him when we watched the lift off of one of the rockets. He has studied rockets and space since he was a child. He is now in college, becoming a scientist. It was a great trip. We are from Tennessee, and we will be back. The best part was seeing the exhibit of the shuttle Columbia.! Most of all he has always wanted to see and touch a moon rock. And he got to!

The overall experience was unforgettable. The bus tour and seeing the Vehicle Assembly Building, within which rockets are built. The platforms from where also the first rocket to the moon was launched. Very special! The Apollo / Saturn V Center, where the Saturn rocket is located. Rocket Garden and all those experiential attractions! It was a day full of discoveries!

We purchased tickets through Headout for Kennedy Space Station. I dont recall getting the adults at kids prices discount which was later on offer. Nor was there any advice that transport is a key issue as the space centre is over an hour from Orlando. That aside, after using Lyft to get there and back, the Kennedy Space Station was worth every cent and a great experience for grandparents with two grandsons. There was lots of science and history but plenty of fun as well. We weren't able to stay long enough for some things due to age of our companions - we had about 5.5 hrs - so allow at least 6-7 to fit in the bus tour and simulator experiences.

The Bus tour to the Saturn V was good. We really liked the Saturn V exhibit. We have visited Huntsville and we liked the Saturn v displays here more than there. The Moon landing theater was a great experience. We also really liked the intro to the Saturn v. Another thing we really liked was the Atlantis shuttle building. We only wished the second showing where the shuttle is shown was working the day we were there. My husband has seen that room work before and said it was breathtaking, wish we had experienced it too.
