Booking Universal Orlando tickets? Read this first

  • The 1-day, 1-park tickets let you explore one park on the day of your choice. Opt between Universal Studios Florida, or Islands of Adventure. Ideal if you’re visiting for a short time or have a favorite park in mind.
  • The 1-day, park-to-park ticket lets you go to two parks in a single day. Book this ticket if you want to ride the Hogwarts Express, which connects Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
  • 2-day park-to-park tickets give you access to two or three parks. These tickets are the best value for multi-day visits and include validity up to 5 days from the selected date.
  • Waiting times can stretch well over 2 hours for popular rides during peak times. Book an Express Pass, in addition to your admission ticket, to bypass regular queues at most rides and attractions. Choose between the Standard Express Pass that lets you skip the line once per ride, and the Unlimited Express Pass which allows unlimited skips for even more ride time.
  • Universal CityWalk is the entertainment, dining, and shopping district right outside the theme parks. It’s completely free to enter, no ticket required. Great for relaxing after your park visit or catching dinner and a show.
  • The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is split between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, and you’ll need a 2-park or 3-park ticket to experience it all, including to ride on the Hogwarts Express that connects them.
  • Special events like Halloween Horror Nights, held at Universal Studios Florida, are not included with regular park tickets. You'll need to purchase separate event-specific tickets to attend these limited-time experiences.

Tips to make your Theme Park experience unforgettable

  • Download the Universal Orlando App before your visit. It’s your in-park companion with live wait times, show schedules, mobile food ordering, interactive maps, and access to virtual lines for select attractions.
  • Plan for at least one full day per park. If you're short on time, use the park map to prioritize key rides before your visit and start early.
  • Stay on-site for early access. Guests at Universal hotels get early park entry (often an hour ahead). This is especially helpful for popular areas like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
  • Take advantage of the Child Swap program. If a little one doesn’t meet height requirements or doesn't want to ride, one adult can wait in a designated area while the other rides, then swap without waiting again.
  • Many attractions have age and height restrictions. Be sure to check ride requirements in advance to avoid disappointment, especially for younger guests.
  • Locker use is mandatory on most thrill rides. Free lockers are available near those attractions for safely storing loose items like bags and phones.
  • Use the free package pick-up service. Bought souvenirs? You can have them sent to the park exit so you’re not carrying them all day.
  • Epic Universe has just opened. This brand-new theme park adds even more to explore. Check out the major new attractions in this park here.
