Gatorland is nestled in South Orlando, just north of the Orlando – Kissimmee line in Central Florida. The theme park is 18.1 miles away from the city center. While Gatorland is on Highway 441, other world-renowned attractions like Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, Epcot, SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, and the Orlando International Airport are only 15 to 20 minutes away by car.

Getting to Gatorland by public transport

By bus

Travel time: 1 hour and 5 minutes
Closest stop: South Orange Blossom Trail and Cypress Crossing Drive
Timings: 5:15 AM to 10:20 PM

The closest bus stop is approximately 3 minutes away by foot. There are no direct buses to Gatorland, in most cases, you will have to change the lines at least once. For instance, if your starting point is SeaWorld Orlando, first hop on bus 111 and get down at Florida Mall, then board bus 108. Bus lines like 441 and 42 also stop close to Gatorland.

By train

Travel time: 1 hour and 31 minutes
Closest station: Kissimmee Station
Timings: 5:06 AM to 8:10 PM SunRail

The SunRail Southbound trains P301, P303, P305, P307, P329, P331, P333, P335, P337, & P339 all stop at Kissimmee Station. From there, walk for a few minutes to take bus 108, which will stop 0.2 miles away from the destination.

Driving route: Drive in the direction of Sea World Dr and Sea Harbor Dr towards Central Florida Pkwy. Pass through US-441 S/US-92 W/Hwy 17 S to reach Hunters Creek. Gatorland is a short distance away from there on the left.

There are plenty of options to choose from depending on your starting point as you can also combine certain bus and train services to reach your destination at an affordable rate. 
  • Fastest route: Taking a cab or driving is the fastest way to get to Gatorland from most places in the city. It takes much less time than it does by public transport. It is the best option if you are pressed for time.    
  • Sightseeing: If you are in the vicinity of Gatorland, then why not cover the distance by foot? The surrounding area at Highway 441 is flanked by greenery and it can turn into a relaxing experience.
